And cookies. And chocolate chip cookies. And peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. And dark chocolate.
And dark chocolate peanut butter cups. Bingo. Love 'em.
So good. So, so good.

Further below in this section I will share some really healthy versions of those natural sweets and dark chocolate treats, made by two amazing companies that are dedicated to using the finest all natural ingredients to make their ridiculously delicious natural sweets.

One company, Uncle Eddie's Cookies, makes the best cookies on the planet.
Chocolate chip, peanut butter, peanut butter chocolate chip, chocolate chip with walnuts, oatmeal raisin, oatmeal chocolate chip, trail mix, cocoa spice and everything nice, and molasses.

And yes, molasses lovers, they are off the chart good.
And the other company, Theo Chocolate, makes the most delicious dark chocolate and milk chocolate items that have ever touched your tongue or been placed on your lips.
Dark chocolate peanut butter cups, milk chocolate peanut butter cups, dark chocolate almond butter cups, milk chocolate almond butter cups, and chocolate bars and dark chocolate bars, in every variety you can possibly imagine.

All of Theo's cups and candy bites are so good.
Basically, chocolate heaven is what we are talking about.
Chocolate Lovers for Life
If you are a chocolate lover and chocolate connoisseur, these products will be a very important discovery that you will surely want to share with all of your chocolate lover friends.
Friends don't let friends not each chocolate.
And as I side note, I'm not vegan, so that's not a concern for me, however, Uncle Eddie's cookies are in fact vegan, and I assure you, whether you are vegan or not, the taste and texture of their cookies will blow your mind to outer space and back.

The cookie company, Uncle Eddie's Cookies, which makes my favorite, peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, also offers the eight other types of cookies I mentioned above, including molasses, which one cookie lover describes as "the best cookie on the entire planet".
And I must agree, the molasses cookies, like all of the others they make, are mind-blowing. So soft, so rich, so natural, and so delicious.
The chocolate company, Theo Chocolate, also makes the hard to find almond butter cups, as well as chocolate peanut butter and jelly cups, and like I indicated above, some of the most amazing varieties of specialty dark chocolate bars you've ever seen.

These are the best tasting natural sweets chocolate items you have ever had, and with the finest natural ingredients.
Sugar and Me

When I was a kid, and from the earliest age I can remember, I had a sweet tooth.
My mom was pretty strict at trying to limit and even prevent me from eating too much processed sugar and in particular anything that contained artificial ingredients.
My dad on the other hand pretty much let me have whatever sweets I wanted, so I ended up eating a lot of sugar items that weren't so great for my health.
In retrospect, I definitely felt really confused by the mixed messages, and guilty on some level as a result.

Although it probably seemed mean or authoritarian at the time, my mom was right, and very wise in her pursuit of the truth when it came to the avoidance of unhealthy ingredients.
God gave her the wisdom to consider that the substance and quality of what we put into our bodies matters.
She didn't forbid all sugar, though. I still remember her baking chocolate chip cookies, my favorite, and only using natural ingredients. They were so good, and she would always let me lick the batter off of the beaters.
My dad didn't want to intentionally harm me, but his lack of knowledge and awareness enabled me to have constant access to food items that were harming my developing body.
I was ingesting way too much of the kind of sweets that were filled with harmful, processed, artificial ingredients, which contributed to my digestive health problems further down the road.

Processed Sugar, Junk Food, and Artificial This and That Took It's Toll

By my early teens, I was addicted to daily consumption of large amounts of soda, fast food, and pretty much every processed candy, cookie, cake, pie, donut, and other sweet item that existed.

Around the time my digestion started breaking down in my early twenties and I was eventually forced to search for solutions and healing, as difficult as it was, I was able to give up soda completely, and incorporate large amounts of purified water intake instead.

Several years later, I was also able to stop eating fast food.

All of that progress was very helpful, and I was so grateful that God had helped me to make the discoveries that led to those changes, as well as giving me the ability to make them. Desperation can be a wonderful gift.
However, there was a final change that was desperately needed and it seemed to be a huge dilemma until the passage of time paved the way for a workable solution.
The dilemma was, even though I had eliminated soda and fast food, my body still craved sugar and chocolate, and probably even more so because I was not ingesting soda in particular, which has sugar content that is off the chart.
So in spite of eliminating soda, I had continued ingesting all of the other harmful sugar products I had been consuming since I was a child. Up until then, there was no alternative.
Fruit, as delicious as it can be, just wasn't going to be enough. In my case, I learned around the same time that I had developed intolerances to many fruit items.
Sweet, Sweet Change - Natural Sweets to the Rescue

Prior to a certain time, there just weren't really any companies that were making natural sweets with healthy, unprocessed ingredients available. It was too risky, because there was no market.
At that time, the market was completely dominated by companies that use harmful ingredients. High fructose corn syrup, which is terrible, was in practically everything.
But thankfully, that domination slowly changed.
People began, like my mom, to question the ingredients being used and sold in food items, and deciding that they wanted to consume dessert items that were free of harmful things.

And entrepreneurs who shared the same feelings took action.
As a result, companies slowly started emerging that had that very important mission, which was to provide what had been needed for such a long time:
Thanks to the two companies I detail on this page, today I get to still enjoy the delicious taste of my favorite sweets, without any of the harmful ingredients that all of the old school stuff was and is still filled with.

So if you're fed up with the way that all of the high fructose corn syrup and other junk ingredients in regular cookie and chocolate products are making you feel, then you should definitely try some of the wonderful natural sweets recommendations below!
